Evelyn (Dunevant) Berryman

Evelyn Dunevant Berryman, 89, of Gainesville, Florida passed away on May 8, 2018. She was born January 23, 1929 in Dillwyn. She studied nursing  and graduated from Medical College of Virginia.  Evelyn spent 50 years working in the VA Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She loved working with people. In her spare time, she loved to knit, cook and spend time with her family. She was instrumental in helping with the Hospice program in Alachua County, Florida. She leaves behind her loving family, her children Cynthia, Wayne, Donna and Marcia; sister, Barbara; brother, Warren; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Irving Berryman; sister, Maggie and brother, Muriel.

Funeral Services will be held May 19 at 11 a.m. at Enon Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.
