Ernest Stuart Taylor

Ernest Stuart Taylor, 83, of Cedarville, Ohio and formerly of Dillwyn, died May 28, 2019.  He was born June 11, 1935 in Dillwyn, a son of the late Marvin H. and Carrie Newton Taylor.  He retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Hilda Gough Taylor; daughter, Carrie Taylor Minor and her husband, Craig; grandchildren, Taylor Minor (Amanda), Grace Minor Becknell (Scott), Mitchell Minor, Levi Minor (Sarah);  brother, Carl Ray Taylor; great-grandchildren, Emma, Madeline, Paige and Victoria Minor and Anna, Lucy, and Miles Becknell and Lincoln Minor.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin, Elmo and Melvin Taylor.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
