Bertha Baker Booker

Bertha Baker Booker, 90, of Dillwyn passed unexpectedly on November 15, 2019.  The matriarch of five generations, Bertha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great, great grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie W. Booker; son, George Booker and daughter, Sarah B. Holman.

She is survived by her children she loved dearly, Dorothy Woodson, Willie Booker, Ralph Booker, Vernell Booker, Shirley Morris, Charles Booker, Gloria Booker, Virginia Brown, Franklin Booker, Ernie Booker, Alma Jane Holman, Ernell Booker and Patsy Chambers. 

Funeral service with be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Petersville Baptist Church with interment in Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Friday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn.
