Wallace Edward Bragg, 70, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, April 6, 2017. He was a resident of Dillwyn, Va. and born in Albemarle, Va. He is the son of the late Wallace Venable Bragg and Annie Faris Bragg.  He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Sue Bragg and RW Johnson Jr of Dillwyn VA and a very special Grandson, Ryan Edward Johnson, three sisters, Frances Thompson and Keith of Louisa, VA, Elizabeth Morris of Charlottesville, VA and Mirtie Jones of Cumberland, VA, One brother, Roy Smith, Jr. of Crozet, VA and many niece, nephews, and other relatives and friends.    He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Banton Bragg and a daughter, Eva Estelle Bragg.  He was a retired carpenter and a caregiver to his late daughter and wife through illnesses for many years.  He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with friends and family laughing and enjoying life.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Arvon Baptist, New Canton VA with interment to follow in the church cemetery with fellowship immediately following within the church.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, VA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Buckingham County Rescue Squad or do an unspoken good deed for one in need.  www.dunkumfuneralhome.com
