Sandra May Catlett Poe, 62, of Dillwyn, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 25, 2017.  She was born January 25, 1955, in Richmond, a daughter of the late Phillip and Rosa Catlett.  Sandra was retired from the Human Resources department of the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice.  She was a faithful servant and pianist for many years at Cedar Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Irvin N. Poe, Jr.; two sons, Lee Davis and his wife, Nancy and Chris Davis and his wife, Samantha; sister, Patricia Hall and her husband, Charles “Byrd” Hall; six grandchildren, Ashley , Chris and Katie Davis and Abby, Alex and Anna Davis and three great-grandchildren, Jake, Sawyer and Greylen.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Cedar Baptist Church, Dillwyn, with interment in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cedar Baptist Church Building Fund.
