Karolyn Sue LeSueur Geigert, 71, of Dillwyn, left this life peacefully on September 7, 2016.  She was born September 1, 1945 in Sevierville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late B.D. and Kate Carr LeSueur. 

She was an educator for over 40 years, many of those years were spent as a kindergarten teacher teaching the county’s children.  Karolyn was blessed with a beautiful voice and greatly enjoyed singing in the church choir. She loved singing with her mother and daughter.  She also honored many families with solos at weddings and funerals. 

Karolyn is survived by her daughter, Dalyn Ruth Seay; daughter-in-law, Donna; sister, Betty Jo Carneal and a granddaughter.  

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter A. Geigert and her dear son, Daniel Fleming Seay.
