Elizabeth Parker Marks, 91, of Columbia, passed away on June 21, 2016.  During her last month going from the hospital to rehabilitation she never gave up hope of going home.  Her wish finally came true on Monday, June 20, where she died peacefully the next morning.  She was the widow of William B. Marks and is survived by daughters, Sharon and husband, Jerry Tyson and Joan and husband, David Manley; son, William B. Marks, Jr.;  six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Charlie; “sister”, Georgia Parker and best friend and “sister”, May Parker.  Private service will be held at a later date.  Please consider a donation to the Cartersville Rescue Squad.  Momma, we will miss you every day.
