David Hawthorne Wade, 60, of Scottsville, died July 8, 2017.  He was born May 21, 1957 in Farmville, Virginia, a son of the late Hawthorn Hartley and Mattie Maxey Wade.

David is survived by two sons, Dean Wade of Craigsville and Darrell Wade of Dillwyn; sister, Pearl Agee and his grandson, Ayden Wade of Appomattox.
