Anna Taylor Gunter, 54, of Dillwyn, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 30, 2017. She was born September 18, 1962, a daughter of the late Acey Taylor and Mary “Nick” Taylor Maxey.    She was an employee of both Pizza Hut and Fas Mart for 20 plus years.

She is survived by her son, Melvin D. Gunter, Jr.; her husband of 36 years, Melvin D. Gunter, Sr.; sister, Edna Baldwin and her son, Donnie Lee Baldwin II; sister, Mary Williams and her daughter, Minnie Williams; brother, Charles R. Taylor and his wife, Bonnie and her best friend, Vickie Angelly.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Acey Woodrow Taylor, Jr. and a nephew, John Williams.

 A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn.
